It is with great excitement as the Head of School at Taejon Christian International School(TCIS) that I recommend the TCIS Young Learner Center(TYLC) to those families seeking high-quality early childhood education for their children.

 The TYLC has been designed in collaboration with educational leaders at the TYLC and TCIS to offer an English immersion environment for children with an international curriculum being delivered by foreign teachers and bilingual local educators. The TYLC will deliver the curriculum using philosophy and strategies based on the international Baccalauteate Primary Years Program (IBPYP).

 In short, the education will primarily be inquiry-based learning. Learners will be taught to share their own unique experiences and perceptions to add to the learning of their peers(Constructivist Educaion). They also will be taught to assume reponsibility for their own learning. All of the above will be delivered in a Christian environment by teachers who feel called to show them God’s love and teach them to share that love with others.
